The Player’s Journal seeks submissions for its inaugural issue.  Deadline for submission is ongoing. Articles on all aspects of acting–process, training, working–are welcome.  Book and performance reviews focusing on the art and craft of acting are welcome, as are opinion pieces on the state of the art and profession.

The Player’s Journal is interested in publishing thoughtful, well-written articles. We will accept submissions in any style or format as long as the style remains consistent throughout the submission.

The Player’s Journal is–

1. An advocate for the actor and the actors’ place on stage, film, and television
2. A means of communication about acting theory and practice for and between theatre students, theatre professionals, and theatre educators.
3. A venue for the development of guidelines and standards for how actors practice and communicate about acting.
